This move follows his single-season stint with the Dallas Cowboys, where he stepped up in Trevon Diggs' absence.

Gilmore, a former Defensive Player of the Year and five-time Pro Bowler, brings invaluable experience to a Vikings defense in need of reinforcements. His 2023 campaign with the Cowboys saw him tally 68 tackles, 13 passes defended, two interceptions, and a forced fumble. Despite a torn labrum, he played in all 17 games, demonstrating his resilience.
